The Element Washare
“I’ve always been deeply fascinated by Japanese culture. Over the years, I’ve trained in traditional Shotokan Karate, explored key ideas in Zen philosophy, and developed a love for Japanese cuisine.
My journey has led me to discover new perspectives on philosophy, craftsmanship, and ways of life—especially the intrinsic connection between people and nature. This artwork embodies the Japanese concept of “wa,” blending natural forms and patterns with human-made forms and patterns to celebrate harmony between individuals and their surroundings, cultivating a mindful, respectful alignment with the natural world.”
